I've never heard of this one. Athlete's foot is caused by a fungus, not by a bacteria BTW.

The official treatment for te disease is by using azole meds, especially Ketokonazole cream. Some cases can have the fungus growing in toe nails, which will require you to to also take azole pills which could either be Itrakonazole or Ketokonazole.

The problem with azoles (especially Ketokonazole) is that they cause adverse reactions with almost anything. If you mix Keto with most drugs for Diabetes, you will get severe hypoglucemia shock and die. Only a doctor that knows these reactions can give you safe dosis if you're using other meds.

The other problem with athlete foot is that it can't be cured in two days, it's a long process. Athlete's foot on the skin can take 1-2 months to cure and up to 8 months if it's on your toe nails because you have to keep using the meds until a new toe nails grows complete which can take 6 months.

I'd personally not reccomend old wives tales as a replacement for meds unless it's proven that they work in serious studies.

Vinager is a myth. I've tried it too.

I've had bad athletes foot before. I use a product called TING. It's a cream that comes in a tube. It works great as far as I'm concerned.

Athlete's foot is a fungus, so it may help because vinegar kills many kinds of fungus. Worth a try, but you need to treat your shoes too because they will harbor it.
