would oral herpes leave open sores on your lips???... or could it be just like a resh that iches???... cuz sometimes my lips are ichy and im a little worried, because that can be 100% accurate test unless a culture is done...

Open sores on your lips can be a number of things. It can be cold sores (herpes simplex virus one) or it can be other things, like really sunburned or chapped lips.
You should really see a doctor and have them take a look at it. They would be able to properly diagnose it.

Yes and No. Open sores around the mouth is typically HSV 1. But most Americans have HSV 1 and dont know i because they never have open sores. On occasion microscopic outbreaks are possible in which youcan spread it. The virus lives dormant in the body until stress or another activator triggers it. Be sure to get test for both HSV 1(cold sores) and HSV 2(genital)--> because HSV 1 can be passed by way of oral sex thus creating HSV 2. Again, you can have it and not know it.

Yes, theres a blood test that can be done to determine if you have genital herpes or oral herpes. which can both be found on either the mouth or genitals.
