Last night, I think I had a seizure. I went to the hopsital and they did x-rays, a CT, blood work, urine sample, blood sugar test, and an EKG. Everything came back fine, so they think it could have been a seizure. Apparently, I made a moaning sound, then hit the floor. My eyes were open, pupils dialated, teeth and fists were clenched tight, and I held my chin against my chest very rigidly. I also bit my tongue and cheek until I bled. Afterwards, I had a terrible headache. Today, the headache is better, but still there. My body aches from the fall which is to be expected but the thing that scares me is that my head feels weird...kinda spacy...almost like I've taken Nyquil or something like that. Earlier, I thought it was going to happen again. I started to panic and cry very suddenly, but after a few minutes, it stopped. I'm scared of doing it again...while driving or something like that. Has anyone else out there had something like this happen? When will I feel better?

He doesn't have any weird cravings or anything like that. Another thing is, if he he cries to hard (like evertime he gets his shots) he forms blood under his skin, and it looks like hickies!?! Is something wrong with him or is this normal in light skinned children?

I was diagnosed about 4 years ago, and haven't had too many flare up since, but my periods are never regular. My doctor told me I was too young to get a hysterectomy when I was first diagnosed, but if that will help, I am greatly considering it. Please get me some information!

The bite (I have several actually) has a small puncture/bite hole and then a huge area of hot, red, hard swelling - about 10 cm in diameter. Not surprisingly, they are very itchy, and I would like some ideas as to what kind of bite it is. I have a very large pond in my garden that has loads of insects on and around it. Please share your knowledge and ideas as these bites are "bugging" me - excuse the pun!

i apologize if this is already somewhere on the boards, as i posted it the other day, but it appears to have been deleted...about a year ago i felt a pain above my eyebrow as if a large pimple was forming underneath...it did not form into a pimple, but rather an irregularly shaped, lumpy bump (roughly 1/4" diameter). at this point, i went to the dermatologist who diagnosed it as "mystery bump"....she put me on antibiotics, but in a few days the bump began to scab over, even though there was never blood and it was never open..the scab just appeared on my skin....and when the scab came off, i was left with a deep little crater on my skin...it was as if this bump/scab thing had eaten away at my flesh...does this sound at all familiar to anyone? no doctors have been able to diagnose it...thanks!

I have been suffereing from cancer for the last six years and it has affected my life style a great deal. I feed through a peg tube in my stomach and breathe thru a tracheostomy in my throat. I have also been told by my doctor, that my life span was limited. I have no regrets about dying and in fact when I had a brush earlier, Irequested my wife to take me home from the hopsital so that I could pass away in my comfy bed.
Even today, as I know how much time I have left, I have made all the required provisions for my wife, my teenaged sons and my aged mother - so that they will never be any financial difficulties. I have also made it clear that I am in way to be given any further treatment and let life just take its course.
I have lived a fantastic life, a life that most would not live in all their reincarnations ( if you believe in the same)- I have travelled the world, have modled for the best of designers, have studied abroad - all in all its been a complete life. No regrets.

I remember in thr begining of my junior year which was september 2005...when I breathed I had this sharp chest pain, that went from my chest to stomach, I felt as if I was dying, I got so pale, I had circles around my eyes, I couldn't even stand up I felt like I was getting a heart attack...i was sitting in the nurse's office for 1 hour and a half or 2 hrsfeeling so much pressure, I had to be sent from the nurse to the principle's office, I couldn't even stand up, I felt like I was dying while walking there, I had to walk all limpy and I wanted to cry... they wanted to call 911 but I said no I'll be OK, I didn't want my parents to get scared. Well that wasn't the first time that it happened, but that was the worst. I didn't get it anymore but I do get sharp pains that last around 2 minutes..I just would like to know what the hell was it? I know you would tell me to go to the doctor, but they don't say much, and my mother just won't understand...and I'm too scared...What the hell was it

My hubby cut the top of his foot with a hand held saw.

It is not bleeding at the moment but it is a 1" long 1/8th of inch wide, cut.

So does he need stitches or how should we treat it?

Someone told him to get stitch strips, are they any good?
