It's unlikely that the results are long. If you've never been tested for it before, though, you could've had it a long time (before marriage). I'd think they would've tested you when you had your first child, though. If you were negative then, and you're positive now, you may want to have a serious discussion with your husband.
There is easy treatment for chlamydia -- it just requires a course of antibiotics. It will completely eradicate it from your system. So, don't worry about that part!

Chlamydia can be treated successfully, however, be sure to have your doctor re-test you when treatment is complete.
I seriously doubt the test results are wrong, however, if you're not certain, ask to be tested again before starting your treatment.
Ask your doctor if he tested you for chlamydia during or after your last pregnancy. If he did, then the chlamydia was not present at the time of your last pregnancy and is something you have contracted since then. If this is the case, you certainly need to have a serious talk with your husband. Chlamydia is only transmitted through sexual contact, or from mother to child during birth in the birth canal.
I would strongly suggest that you either completely abstain from having sex with your husband while your pregnant or only have sex using a condom. He too needs to be tested and treated for the disease, otherwise he will continue to infect you.
I'm sorry that you are going through this situation at a time that should be joyful. Husband's that cheat generally deny it, so DON'T believe him.

I had chlamydia in my younger teenage years, though neither I nor my bf at the time had cheated on the other. My dr explained that women are the "carriers" of the disease and can get it "just because", kind of like a yeast infection. A male can only get it through intercourse with a female who has the disease. So don't worry, chances are, your husband didn't cheat, though he should get treated as you more than likely gave it to him and if you're both not treated, it will never go away. Don't worry, it's nobodys fault, these things happen.

Chlamydia (“kla-MID-ee-uh”) is a curable sexually transmitted infection (STI), which is caused by bacteria called Chlamydia trachomatis. You can get genital chlamydial infection during oral, vaginal, or anal sexual contact with an infected partner. It can cause serious problems in men and women, such as penile discharge and infertility respectively, as well as in newborn babies of infected mothers.Chlamydia bacteria live in vaginal fluid and in semen. Chlamydia is sometimes called the “silent” disease because you can have it and not know it. Symptoms usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after being infected.
