I have poison ivy in a bad place, between my fingers. It is so annoying that I am tempted to do an old fashioned method that supposably always works. I am worried it may hurt me somehow. If you know that it won't what is the best way to apply the bleach?

I have been to countless medical doctors and have tried different medications, vitamins, herbs, diets, but my hair still comes out by the handfuls every day, my weight is going up and up, my eyes are swollen and my ankles are long since buried. For 5 years, I was in a relationship with a crystal meth addict. I watched him go on a downward spiral. He lost everything because of drugs. About 2 years ago, I got so fed up, I severed all ties with him except the occaisional phone call just to see how he is doing. I called him last week, just to talk for a few minutes, and he sounds horrible. Last time I saw him in person, around October of '05, he looked very sick and skinny and just aweful. His family is close to worthless and I don't think he has any friends left. I can't help but worry about him. If he doesn't stop using, I am afraid he will die. I have very limited knowledge about meth. I never got into using with him and I really don't know what he is going through, but if there is a way I could help him, I would like to try.

Why is it so hard to warn our partner or anyone who we might be sexually active with in the future that we might have an STD? Is it fair to the other person if you knowingly are withholding this information. Why would you want to subject someone you care about, to hurt the same way that you do? If you could prevent someone from being infected, how would you? Do you disclose this information before or after you have already encountered the other person? How would you feel if someone did this to you? What would you do if someone knowingly gave you a disease? What if it was an uncureable disease? Do you think your life would be ruined. Would you do the same to someone else b/c it was done to you? Have you ever confronted a person who gave you an STD? Did they apologize?
