This has supposedly occurred in one family and among siblings. Unfortunately, I don't have any details-someone mentioned this to me recently. I thought it sounded unusual but could be true.

Well, do you have this condition? Is the name of it "Rare Eye" condition? I haven't heard of it. Is it Cat Eye Syndrome? Aniridia? Cat Eye Syndrome probably isn't it, colobomas don't usually lead to blindness. Aniridia might cause total blindness, since a lack of irises will definitely lead to decreased vision. (Irises control the size of the pupil to let light in or keep it out.) Marfan Syndrome might be another one....I don't know.

All of the above listed eye conditions are not so rare as to have only three people having. I have not heard of this but would be interested...let us know if you find out anything more!
