More than likely you have pollen or dust lingering on your nose hairs. A saline nose spray may help with this

Our family stopped this from happening by showering and washing our hair before we go to bed. Be sure that you put clean sheets on the bed as well.
The body and the hair collect a lot of allergens throughout the day and, as long as the allergy pill is working, you won't sneeze. Over nighttime hours, as the pill wears off, the allergens on your body can cause you to react when you get up. That's why the symptoms stop after you take the pill..

You're reacting to pollens. Sneezing a zillion times right when you get up is sorta because of all the sneezes you were svaing up, but didn't use, while you slept.
(layman's explanation)
To find out exactly what you're allergic to, you'd have to be tested. But if it's worse in spring, it's probably tree pollen. Worse in summer - grass. Worse in late summer/early fall - hayfever (ragweed). Bad all year - molds.

I have heard of cases where people will literally sneeze when they wake up. But more often, it's the allergens that collect on your pillows and bedding. I also sneeze a lot, but not as much as I used to before I started throwing my blankets in the wash somewhat more frequently.

sounds like hayfever (seasonal pollen) - it's worse in the morning. The pollen differs depending on which is happening when, so you may find you are allergic only one month or, you could be allergic all year! One good way to determine if it's allergies is if you take antihistamine and it works.

It probably is some kind of allergy. Also, it could just be your body's way of clearing your nose every morning. It's probably dust. No matter how clean your house is, you never get rid of it all.

My guess is that you are allergic to the dust mites in your pillow. Yes we all have them. It is a good idea to get a new pillow once in a while. Try that.
