I'm 27 years old and for the past several years, sometimes I can feel my heart beat faster or sometimes it seems to be skip a beat. is that a sign of a heart problem? I'm always worried that i'll get a heart attack or stroke but doctors say that i'm too young to get a heart attack.....any advice?

About 4 months ago I had this feeling in my chest, like my heart was sinking into me but it only happened every once in awhile.. It's really hard to explain. It didn't hurt but it was weird and a bit uncomfortable. It kinda made me feel like I was losing my breath. My mom took me to the doctor and he said it was probably nothing. About a month later it got a little more intense and was happening more then once a week. It started hurting a little and made me a little sick to my stomach. Now, it is a constant feeling. I feel like someone is grabbing my heart and twisting it. It isn't always real bad but sometimes it gets tearjerking. I am also having alot of headaches recently. I'm only 17 and I have no way to get to a doctor. My parents think I'm overreacting but I'm starting to get really worried. Does anyone have any idea what this could be and what should I do if I can't get my parents to get me to a doctor? Should I even be concerned so much?

Now, i've never been in this situation but, if i had been i would give the person some leeway on the issue, and some time to "splain" like Ricky says from *I love Lucy*.

Anyone else have this disorder/disease? I was recently diagnosed with it, as congenital, but having a late onset in life. I'm 24, and am hoping to have corrective surgery for my 25 degree deviation. Anyone with experience with this is welcome to answer here. I'm not scared or anything, but would appreciate input from other ordinary people who have experienced this or are close with someone who has. I have read up on this problem, and find that the medical terms are often confusing and not very helpful.

Thanks!

What would make you freeze and get chils down your spine, finding it difficult to move and breathe?

Something I was always thinking about. Does anyone ever realize how many people don’t tell the people they have sex with that they have a incurable STD? Such as HPV, HIV, ect.

Anyway, I was just joking around one day and OBVEISULY this will never happen but I was thinking, How would the transmission rates of these incurable STDs go down, if you had to get a REQUIRED (by court order) tattoo on a possible place you could contract that virus (of course you would have to be tested and test positive on the test). I'd make telling your screw buddy a lot easier wouldn't it?

And for the people that say I'm an ***, I have HSV -1, so I would have it tattooed on my FACE.

FYI, I asked this in the dating section as well, because I want to see if I get different responses.

They look like ringworm, but only one was curved shape. The first time they showed up after I jumped into an untreated swimming pool. A month later, one showed up next to an old one. They show up over night and disappear a day or two later.
The doctor says I have folliculitus, but I disagree becuase I have no hair where the blister shows up. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I've got?

Even theories would be appreciated. I know a lovely woman with motor neurone disease, she can't even feed herself or go to the bathroom by herself. If you feel like saying a little prayer to ease her suffering, I would be very grateful.(Her name is Ronda) Thanks Peter
