Ventriloquist dolls creep me out, when it comes to dreams. Any kind of doll coming to life and just looking at me makes me shocked. Real life nightmare?...Being left all alone without any friends and partner...Or drown in water while I am trapped somewhere.

A nightmare about having no money, no job, no way to get one and being too sick t work.

A nightmare about being shot in the chest, bleeding to death, and slowly blacking out from it

Waking up paralyzed and unable to move (rarely actually happens because of a condition I have).

Waking up choking and unable to breathe freely (rarely actually happens because of a condition I have).

I graduated from high school a year early at age 16 (with a real diploma, not a GED or equivalency) and went on to college. For about two years I occasionally had nightmares about having to go back to high school and finish up and deal with the moronic social adjustment and development worshippers that were there as high school teachers and couselors -- now these were absolutely helling nightmares, imagine being a teenager and a college junior slamshifted back into kindergarten. Brrr.

I graduated from university more than three decades ago, yet I have a recurrent dream that I am in the last week before graduation and realize that I signed up for a class that I did not attend, and did not drop, and am going to get a failing mark for.

Oddly enough, even should this have happened, I still could have graduated, not *** laud like I did, but still graduated. (the program bleeped out the first of the more proper latin term for "with honors")

Probably having some horrible maggots burrowing through my flesh and eating away at my organs. They then take over my brain and force me to torture to death my friends, family and thousands of children. Then they finally devour the rest of me but my soul is trapped in my rotting corpse while the ghosts of the people I have killed torment me forever.

I have a disturbing imagination.

My worst nightmare is being married and having children. Seriously. Bring on the maggots, the hellfire, the broken glass in my rectum, just don't try getting me to settle down.

I get that, night terrors and sleep paralysis. It sort of gives you a new outlook on phobias when you have to go through it for real.
