When i'm nervous or if i'm in a realy loud enviroment, i'll start grining my teeth..it's kinda annoying, but it's becoming serious.

don't just say 'stop doing that' because it's like, almost a reflex. It's fighting my first reaction to put my hands in my mouth and clamp down...hard(its a very hard habit to break, but it's worth it to keep my sanity)

I want to know what kind of dammage could happen to my teeth and jaw.

Cover up the smell of alcohol the next morning?

My plan, brush my teeth & tongue, then use mouthwash, & before going home, have something to eat?
& take a shower asap. haha.

Would that be best?

I just got braces on my bottom teeth about a week ago, and today I started feeling a sharp pain in my premolars on the left side whenever i would drink something cold or breathe cold air; the rights also hurt a bit, but not as much -- I got my braces on the top row for about 5 months before getting the bottom ones, and i never experienced this with the top.

so i had braces for 3.5 years, and i took em off 3 months ago. i have the retainers, breakable. im supposed to wear them day and night for 1 year straight, but i only where it at night.
IM NOTICING AN OVERBITE on THE TOP JAW. and its really visible. mostly the 2 front teeth.
if i wear my retainers during the day too, will it move my teeth back to its shape when i just took off my braces? like no overbite at all .

I do brush my teeth before I go to bed all the time. Two days ago I took Metronidazole 2g and since then I have been waking up with this very sweet taste in my mouth. So horrible. Does anyone know why this could be happening. Please help.

you can brush and you can floss, what about massage? ...and with what tools or tricks?

2007-12-22 03:09:04 · 4 answers · asked by chonnyman 2

When I floss, I can bring the floss half across my bottom tooth. What could be causing this? I do have tartar on that tooth, as well as the one next to it. It's the bottom front one. I would appreciate any advice.

Um..on Wed. i had two teeth taken out. (omg....i sort of enjoyed it, lol) Like my mom said for Thursday and Friday that i shouldn't go outside.(only to walk to school).

but tomorrow, i have track practice and i REALLY want to go. My gums feel good, and i'm not in any pain at all. I'm starting to be able to eat stuff.......so....can i go? Will it affect my teeth/gums?

I have an abcess in my 6 year old molar.
For the past 2 months I have gone through really bad pain everday. The has been pain is shooting up the right side of my face, basically I get a headache everyday. I had recently put "temporary filling" in my tooth, which made it feel 10x better, it has been coming off for the past few days which was exposing my nerve to everything( IT WAS HELL). My question is how do you know when the nerve is dead?

Right now I have a really bad headache, but it feels like my tooth has a pulse but it doesn't hurt. Does that mean the nerve is dead?

common be honest. what make you skip brushing your teeth the day you didn't.

2007-12-21 08:52:44 · 27 answers · asked by @NGEL B@BY 7

My dentist has recommended either bridge work or an implant for me. The temporary bridge is less expensive but requires continual care and will likely need to be replaced in the future at additional cost. The implant costs more but acts and functions more like a regular tooth and is permanent. Reportedly, I have enough bone in my jaw to support the implant.

I'm leaning more towards getting the implant as my preference; however, I was just wondering does anybody have any experience with either procedure? What were your results?

Thanks so much ...
