These aren't my wisdom teeth(already had that done), but I need my two lower on each side, very back taken out. I was wondering if its safe to have them both removed at the same time and how much pain from the tmj will I experience?

I'm under my mom and I lost my insurance several months ago because I took the semester off from college. I just got reinstated few weeks ago. Anyways, a few months ago I lost several of my fillings--in succession. Because of this when I accidentally bit down on a steak bone I lost two of my right back teeth (not right away) and one of them is only half gone, some is still embedded on the bottom. On my left, my top back teeth has a big hole and my tooth is throbbing! Directly below it is another that lost a huge chunk of the filling. I'm so embarassed going to the dentist. I couldn't do anything about it during the time I had no insurance. I have an appointment this friday but I don't think they cover bridges, crowns or whatever they do to replace my missing teeth. What should I do?

An aunt of mine has to get her entire teeth pulled out due to them becoming loose. She is a diabetic, which is the reason the dentist told her they have to come out. She was quoted 2,200 for the procedure.
Has anyone gone through such a procedure and how much did it cost you??

They are hard. It almost feels like when your wisdom teeth come in, but they go away. I noticed it seems to happen when I am sick. It always happens in the same two spots and it is symmetric. They are behind the second tooth from the back on both sides. Anyone have any clue? This time the skin on my hard palate peeled first. That never happened before.

I want a dentist who is patient, caring, and who understands how traumatic it be for some people to allow strangers into their mouths. Epecially with that Godforsaken drill/needle. I'm acutally looking for a recommended dentist in Manhattan (NYC) Thanks!

ok in January my face had swollen and landed me at the ER (it was my bday too). I was told I had an abcess on my tooth. It ruptured later that day and omg what a relief! The dentist has pulled other teeth out since we are working on dentures. So here it is almost october and I still have it. It ruptures about every other day w/o all the swelling. it's painful all the same. what can I do? Please dont say get another dentist. I've had to switch several times and at this point he's the only one in the area that takes medical card and new patients. what can I do?
