They get on my nerves cos I can't find an NHS one! Can't afford to go private and they are all money grabbing gits. Hubby went for a filling last week and it cost him £189 which is totally ridiculous. No wonder they're all raking in a 100k a year.
I hated my dentist that I used to go to as a kid, he was always sarky and despite having perfect teeth, which I also have now - no fillings or anything, he would just say something like clean u're teeth more often, for no reason. I got him back tho cos one appointment I went to I took my pet rat and lying in the chair, I took it out of my pocket and it crawled up my chest. Dentist turned his head and there's this giant rat sat inches from his face. I have never seen a bloke jump so far. It was hilarious!!

Only when I am seated next to one at a wedding or something.
People, please do not assume that dentists like to talk to other dentists. It's not that we DON'T, but SOME dentists apparently don't know how to talk about anything but teeth, no matter HOW much I try to change the topic to something normal people would enjoy. Yes. SOME dentists really get on my nerves. And I'm a dentist.

I like the pun you're using here. Dentists, using tools to mess with your teeth, which you'd feel, due to nerves. Very nice. Though they are abit weird, and very expencive, they do know what they are talking about. I'd take 2 days of pain, for a life time of nice teeth, but perhaps this is just a very Americain way to look at things.

I know what you mean Dr Sam, whenever me and some fellow students go out for drinks that's all they talk about, I did this to a patient today I did that, which is the reason I hardly ever go out with them. I see teeth all day, then I have to hear about it at a bar?! I prefer my football buddies, they're a lot more fun.
