A polyp is an abnormal growth of tissue (tumor) projecting from a mucous membrane. If it is attached to the surface by a narrow elongated stalk it is said to be pedunculated. If no stalk is present it is said to be sessile. Polyps are commonly found in the colon, stomach, nose, urinary bladder and uterus. They may also occur elsewhere in the body where mucous membranes exist like the small bowel.

There's your polyps and then there's your polyps. We can't answer this without seeing your mouth. Some are innocent and some are tumors.

I am pretty sure that you can get a tattoo pretty much anywhere you want because i have seen ppl get tattoos on the bottom inner lip on a tattoo show, and i don't think it will harm you in any way at all.[[=

If it is a recent thing it may be nothing but could need investigating and removing.

I think you have a canker sore. rinse with warm salt water and it will eventually go away
