I have a family member that is dieing right now. He is only 33 yrs old. He probably has smoked for about 15yrs. They say its what started as a respritory infection or pnemonia and nothing helped it. I dont know the rest of the details. But could he have had lung cancer and not known it until now? This is just crazy to think of some this young.....and from smoking. I dont smoke, but my husband does and I just went around the house and threw all his cigarettes away.

Okay, nice one -- I was drilling a hole and the drill bit wasn't in tight, the bit went at an angle into my finger. Traumatic, lots of blood and quite a hole, but I didn't hit bone, it went in at enough of an angle thankfully. All cleaned up, But do I need a tetnus shot now? I had one about 7 or 8 years ago, but don't recall the exact date and could be off by a couple years. Also, if I do need one, how soon do i have to get it? thanks

Do you get it in one or both eyes, do you get any physical symptoms?
What age do you expect to get it?
I have heard you must test your eyes if it runs in the family, but when do you need to test?
My left eye aches sometimes, I do have glasses for certain things, not all the time.

I'm a college student living in a dorm right now and I fell off my lofted bed about an hour and a half ago after taking a nap (my alarm clock really startled me). I fell onto a sharp plastic object and now I have a gash on my leg. It was really bleeding bad, but it's stopped. My concern is that I have a really sharp pain there now, especially when I walk (I landed right on the bone). Should I see a doctor soon or do you think it will go away eventually? I don't really want to go because I'm in a city I'm not familiar with, but if it would create a problem if I don't go, then I definitely will. The doctor is on campus, but it's on the other campus of my school and that means a 15 minute bus ride.

I am 27 years old and have had increasingly more bouts with panic attacks and coping problems (crying over EVERYTHING) starting when I was 19 years old. 4 months ago my mother had a brain tumor removed (benign) and since her diagnosis, I have had crippling panic attacks and unconsolable crying/ feelings of hopelessness 2-3 times a week. I have quit my job, have no libido, and no energy whatsoever. My insurance doesn't cover any "mental health" issues (i've checked)....and I don't want to become addicted to taking medication everyday. What do I do to cope better and control my feelings of fear/anxiety/helplessness?

It don't believe it's standard at 30 with an HMO that they will do one. But with people getting cancer so young these days I want one! And does one mean they can find ANY lumps you may have? No one in my family has had breast cancer, but I still want the mammagram

A year ago, I was having bad sinus infections. I was sick on and off for 3 months. I went to an ear, nose, and throat doctor who did a CAT scan to look at my sinuses. He put me on strong antibiotics to clear it all up. My sinuses are acting up again. I'm trying to prevent getting infections like I had last year. What can I do?

I have this brown dischargish stuff and I don't know what it is. I am eleven years old and I am so confused. I don't think it was discharge because it was thicker than discharge. I'm currently uninsured and have previously been prescribed the birth control pill Yasmin. Well my current month's supply runs out in about a week and I need to find a relatively cheap way to purchase at least another three month's worth of pills. Does anyone use internet pharmacies to purchase their birth control pills? I don't have a current prescription since I haven't been to my doctor in about three months, but like I said I was prescribed these pills by my gyn. I know that with internet pharmacies you run the risk of outdated medications, ect. ect. but I really need my birth control. Has anyone had any luck with internet pharmacies before and if so, which one? Otherwise, is there any other way of obtaining birth control pills cost efficiently without insurance?

I have a challenge for you, if you think you can find this information!
I've looked at every box in the store. Not one of them give the name of the adhesive or the ingredients. Can a nurse, student or chemistry expert please find this out? Maybe a link so I can read about it. I have Googled, Yahoo'd, asked Jeeves, Dog Piled, Monster Crawled, used all search engines on Internet Explorer, as well as MSN'd and can not find the answer!!!! Some people are allergic to certain things, it shouldn't be that hard to find. Aren't companies suppose to give a list of ingredients on all the products now days? My family would appreciate the info.!!! And you will get 10 points and my humble respect!!
