A year ago, I was having bad sinus infections. I was sick on and off for 3 months. I went to an ear, nose, and throat doctor who did a CAT scan to look at my sinuses. He put me on strong antibiotics to clear it all up. My sinuses are acting up again. I'm trying to prevent getting infections like I had last year. What can I do?

My friend had that for years, headaches and such from it. The doc gave him tons of antibiotics and steroids and no help. I told him to get some Xclear, it's a nasal wash with xylitol. This stuff kills the germs and bacteria in your sinuses.

Also check out knowthecause.com with Doug Coffman. He has a weekly show and you may already be watching it. He is an ex Vietnam vet and got real sick and figured it out. It was fungus and mold. His site explains most of it and the TV show is long as no commercials.

Anyway I suggest you get some garlic and the best is Kyolic (no you will not smell like garlic, but may scare off a vampire), its good for you in many ways. Also check out oldsouthwinery.com and vitacost.com, both carry muscadine grape extract. This stuff is good for aches, putting oxygen in your system like Viagra and curing cancer, just follow the links the the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Getting back to the Xclear, go to www.xclear.com. You can get these things at most vitamin shops or just call and order. Also vitaminshoppe.com.

My friend went through a rough time and money with no results until he used the garlic and xclear and now OK and wiser. Take care!

Forget about antibiotics and nasal sprays. They only give short term relief and don't really overcome the problem of overactive mucus glands. Nasal sprays can actually damage your sinuses.

Garlic helps. Take 3 to 6 high strength odourless 3,000 mg garlic capsules a day and that will help a bit.

Switching from mucus generating dairy products and red meat to soy milk and white meat also helps. Fish is better than chicken.
