In general, changing hormone levels could cause it--try another preg. test in a few days if they get worse, just to make sure. Also you may want to check with your doctor, just to be safe, because there is a little-known type of breast cancer, called inflamatory breast cancer, that sometimes causes pain in the breast tissue.

Every 5 years your menstural cycle changes a little bit. I didn't get cramps until I was 24 years old and then when I was 30 years old my breasts started to get sore (like pregnancy) before my period. You kind of change every so often.

That time of the month can cause your boobs to become swollen or tender, also if you wear a bra thats too tight can cause it to be sore. Hope it feels better soon.
