Despite my age I am in good medical condition,married to a good man, I do not wear glasses and have most of my own teeth I eat a varied diet and enjoy a glass of wine now and then. I walk on average 3-4 miles a day. I am able to use the computer. Finish most crosswords. Also I enjoy life. ..........Now I am not bragging, just stating the facts. However my one fault is I am about l stone heavier than I should be. This seems to worry the doctors and nurses far more than it does me............What do you think. Any answers would be appreciated.

i am advised not to eat to much of eggs casue of cholestrol in them . can it affect a thin person and how . why is cholestrol harmful.

I have a doctor's appointment in about two weeks but my gums are killing me. Mouthwash doesn't seem to do anything.
Is there anything I can do to get some sort of relief?

My doctor reffered me to an outpatients psychiatric department for analysis back in September. However, refferals in the UK take a LONG time to come through, and now it's February and there's still no sign.

So, while waiting, I figured i'd try to understand myself a bit better by looking stuff up online, and did a bunch of those self-diagnosis tests (of course, they're 90% rubbish, but they can be used as a point for further research) and after looking into both carefully, whilst in a rarely stable mood (lol) it seems I match both borderline and bipolar symptoms. However, even where there are differences, I take from each side, so I can't get a clear-cut answer.

Is it possible to be both?

And yes, I know when I go in for my evalauation they'll tell me, but right now I don't know how long that might be, and i'd rather get myself well-informed while i'm in the state of mind to do so than go in clueless.

I am not talking about starting then not finishing the scrip. That's very unhealthy.
I simply mean do you avoid taking them because you feel it is better to let your immune system fight off illness.
I usually don't take them unless I'm really sick and it just won't go away.
Is this a good practice, or am I just toying with my health?

How long do side effects from Erythromycin go? I got these pills monday from my GP for acne.......since I been taking these I have vomitting twice on weds also had diarha, and all of a sudden this abdomal pain come along.....I still have this pain, I lost my appeatie, I keep burping and peeing every 10 mins, my doctor came round friday afternoon and checked up on me and said everything appears normal and gave me some desolve paracemtom you add with water and some Merbently sryup to calm the pain, well I wanted a second opinion on this and was wondering when do these side effects tend to go? and are these normal stytoms to have while taking this? and has anyone had any paitence with this before?

Is there any way to suppress a cough? In the last 4 months I have been on antibiotics for three months and I am now come down with a chest and throat infection. My blood sugars are going crazy - I a=have been shooting insulin at quite high levels and still am not coming down. Dr not available till Thursday!

i am taking 4 eggs a day (2 with yolk and 2 egg whites with milk) after exercise.
and i also take cornflakes with milk after after 2 hours gap.
i am doing 25 pushups each day and little streching exercise.
please guide me if when i need to incerease no of eggs or anything else to gain weight.

OCD is not only about being a neat freak. I know its a common misconception. But what if you have the tendency to get obssesed about the number of characters on a text (not letting it reach to certain numbers)? Erasing all the text message if you commit a mistake? Frequent blowing on things? If you tend to shake or feel really bad when you try to stop? Are these signs? What other signs are there? Thanks!
