Calcium is great but if your body isn't absorbing properly you can take all you want and it won't work. You need weight baring exercise. Sardines, brocholli are good sources of calcium outside of dairy. Get a complete analysis at the doctor. Do a bone density test and when it shows you have loss they can recommend a diet to meet your needs.

Great answers so far, calcium containing compounds and exercise are 2 key ingrediants. But I saw an article a while ago on a Swiss research study in which dried onions were given to rats with their ovaries removed, to simulate post-menopause symptoms, and there was something with like a 20% increase in bone density amongst the onion test subjects. They were given a relatively small pellet. That could be something you could do. But exercise is really the best thing because it stimulates a stronger bone growth structure, an increase in horizontal trabeculae.

It depends on how old you are. If your above your 50s, its normal to have weak bones. But if you're below 50, its advisable that you would eat food with lots of calcium and magnesium. You need about 1200mg of calcium during your 40s. You could drink milk, calcium supplements, and fish stock (and eat the fish head). You could also eat Asian delicasies, such as dried fish bones which could be fried and eaten. These are rich in calcium.

It depends on your age, gender and diet that u take.
Hormonal changes will start affecting people over 40 years, where phosphate-Calcuim are the players of this criteria, meaning phosphate will increase in body and causing the release of calcium from bones, resulting in degradation of bones slowly and weekness of various bones(legs, arms, hands and fingers).
Ladies are more to develop bone weekness,as thier hormonal changes start earlier in life(after menopause) and have higher rates than males.
For diet,u should always consume on daily basis eggs, meats, milk, cheese, yoghurt.u can also take a vitamin D+calcium (IU 4000) which is available in pharmacies.

do excercise, and gym this will strengthen your bones,
unless you have a calcium deficiency, just eating milk and cheese is not going to strengthen anything by itself.
