I have trouble with Gout flare ups. Anyone got any first hand advice?

I was diagnosed with severe depression but I am not sure if the docter had it right or not. My mother doesn't think i have it, and it never crossed my mind that i might have it. I didn't go to school for two weeks before winter holidays cause i couldn't get out of bed. But only after my diagnosis that i realized how depressed i m, i thought life is supposed to be like this. Even when i m smiling i m asking myself if i m happy at this moment i can only answer no. My mother is supposed to know, she gave birth to me so i guess she knows me well. I don't want to seem nuts to her anymore, it pains me too. She reminded me that my teachers who omitted work for me because i missed it is just helping me cheat through life. I m not even in University yet and i m already cheating!!

I feel horrible i just want to hear someone's opinion if I really do have depression or it's just all in my head.

My Dr recmd's a diagnostic surgery to look for poss. endometriosis. Not sure I need to have it. Am concerned about having gen'l anesthesia.

I only have pain on & off with sex. My ultrasound was nml. I have light periods with no pain.I thought with endom. you had bad periods.

When she examined me deeply on Lft and Rt. I almost jumped off the table; she says not normal. I already have muscular pain in pelvis & back muscles related to SIJD, a condition there.

I am thinking of having my tubes tied then.I'm 44,my child is grown. Have mixed feelings; if I got pregnant I might feel devastated. If I have the tubal I'll be sad & depressed!
Silly,hm?Does it change you in other ways like a hyst. does?

I recently took Rifampin, major antibiotic for MRSA, a serious infection I got from my bro. a cancer patient. 2 yeast inf from those meds! Concerned about healing and immune system is low. Wait to have surgery?
Dr's all unsure about this inf;is a new strain.Stays in your system always

Hello... My dad was just diagnosed with colon cancer... I don't know to much about it... I was just wondering if anyone can tell us what were in for... He starts Chemo and Radiation on Monday...

Now my Grandma... My Dad's mom to be exact... Just passed from colon cancer last year... When they operated they made it worse... The nurse said it was like puting gas on a fire... It made it spread everywhere... Can that happen again?....

Are there things... even just little things... We can do to help him... And whats going to happen as far as side effects... Any info would be appreciated if you have been with anyone that has gone through this before and maybe you have survived cancer... Thank you so much for anything you can tell me...

The ins. company wants to move my 51 year old Mom to a nursing home for further care. She got MRSA after surgery of the lung. It has been 5 weeks since the surgery. The social worker at the hospital says that all the nursing homes are turning her down because of the infection...Is this allowed???

Hi. I am on my fifth day of the cabbage soup diet. Today I am eating chicken. Can I have hot sauce with it??? I've got the bottle. The only thing on the nutrition label that doesn't say "0" is sodium. There are no calories, no fat, no carbs and not protein.

for me, i always need to go to the restroom number 2 in the morning whether i eat a lot the previous day or not. i either have school or work in the morning and i do not like to use the public restroom. i also noticed that when my stomach is cold, i need to go. so i always have to cover my stomach with a jacket or something. i also noticed that standing and walking around helps prevent you from going rather than sitting down. so i want to know if there are any better steps to use so that i can hold it in for a couple of hours when i get home. please tell me the best methods.
