Hi. I am on my fifth day of the cabbage soup diet. Today I am eating chicken. Can I have hot sauce with it??? I've got the bottle. The only thing on the nutrition label that doesn't say "0" is sodium. There are no calories, no fat, no carbs and not protein.

Yes. While on the cabbage soup diet, I always put calorie-free, carb-free, etc. sauces on my food.

Hope that helps.

I don't see why not. Sodium is really only hard on people who are sensitive to it and may develope complications as a result of the water retention it causes.

Long story short, I don't see any harm in it.
