I am home sick from school today....I have a cold and a bad stomach ache. I am tired of chicken noodle soup and my mom is going to the store to buy me something to eat...what should I get that would be good on my stomach.
Again, I'm tired of soup.

gingerale or tea to settle your stomache and jello - there's always room for jello!

If your stomach is crampy, you really shouldn't be eating solid foods. Soup or clear broth is best. Make Jello & drink it warm. If you have loose stools, plain white rice is good to slow it down and would give you something to chew on. Cook it in chicken broth to give it some flavor.

Ginger is good for nausea & cramps. Get a gingerale from the health food store or natural foods aisle of the grocer's - Vernor's is one brand - with real ginger root in it. Or make tea from the root by slicing about a teaspoon into a cup & pouring boiling water over. Let sit a few minutes and sweeten with honey, agave or raw sugar.
