My Dr recmd's a diagnostic surgery to look for poss. endometriosis. Not sure I need to have it. Am concerned about having gen'l anesthesia.

I only have pain on & off with sex. My ultrasound was nml. I have light periods with no pain.I thought with endom. you had bad periods.

When she examined me deeply on Lft and Rt. I almost jumped off the table; she says not normal. I already have muscular pain in pelvis & back muscles related to SIJD, a condition there.

I am thinking of having my tubes tied then.I'm 44,my child is grown. Have mixed feelings; if I got pregnant I might feel devastated. If I have the tubal I'll be sad & depressed!
Silly,hm?Does it change you in other ways like a hyst. does?

I recently took Rifampin, major antibiotic for MRSA, a serious infection I got from my bro. a cancer patient. 2 yeast inf from those meds! Concerned about healing and immune system is low. Wait to have surgery?
Dr's all unsure about this inf;is a new strain.Stays in your system always

Well I've had endometriosis. Yes you bleed alot, periods and in between. The procedure the doc is thinking about doing is a Lapraoscopy, it is a small tube with a camera in the end of it. They go through your belly button and look around the area. This way they can actually see if it is endometriosis or fibroid tumors or possibly a cyst. Anyway, it is general anesthia(at least it was 25 years ago when I had this)and is a breeze. After that you can decide what you want to do. Myself, I had endometriosis in the layers of the uterus, on the ovaries and in the tubes. I had a complete hysterectomy.........that means no ovaries, no tubes. If you have a partial......they just take the uterus. Hormone treatment follows as your estrogen will plummet and it needs to stay around. Basically it throws you into menopause instantly. I was 27, I did not want anymore kids so I wasn't put off by the surgery taking my baby making stuff. You are just like any other woman out there, you still have sex drive, you may need estrogen therapy for a few years, but you are fine........just regular. Good luck.

MRSA ifection will also be brief, or can colloize you. We all have staph that lives on our epidermis, we'd like it, with MRSA, we emerge as colonized with a style immune to antibiotics. It simply will depend on if you're colonized. As to the yeast contamination, yogurt, tons and tons of yogurt. If the suffering is not interfering with everyday lifestyles, I would not danger an invasive surgical procedure. You are proper, common anastesia is not danger unfastened. And in the event you woul dbe up set with a tubal do not do it. Continue utilizing any other style of BC and watch out.
