My entire life I have lived in a small town, surrounded by family. In the summer, though, I'll be moving to a rather large city (Rome, Italy)...and I'll be by myself for a while. I'll use my common sense, but things still happen.....so, what are some self defense moves I could learn? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've been sick for about 3 weeks now, at first they thought sinus infection, then they thought mono, then they thought strep, then they thought mono again, so anyway, the first Monospot test came back negative so they did a throat culture for strep - Also negative.

I went back to the doctor, and they did a full blood test and confirmed that I do indeed have Mono.

I have some swollen lymph nodes on the right side of my neck from just under my jaw all the way down the right side, to my collarbone. The ones up by my jaw are the most swollen, visibly. The others are much smaller.

I was wondering how long Mono keeps your lymph nodes swollen for, roughly? I have an appointment with an ENT tomorrow to get them checked out, but I just found out it was Mono today... I'm wondering if I should still go to the ENT, since I can't really afford it right now and it's quite a journey to get there, and now I know what I have, I know the probable cause too.

So far they've been swollen about 3 weeks.

I havent had my periods for two months and my doctor prescribed me Provera(Mdroxypr) to bring my period down...I have always had a regular period...so far no period! I just want to know if I can still get pregnant or am I just not going to be able to have kids? :( My period has to come down somehow somew RIGHT? I hate this .. I hate it..Im feel worse than anytime in my life.I ask a million questions and the doctors tell me theres nothing wrong.What is the problem?I am from the tropics and the only thing different is moving to what seems to be the north pole..Its a very cold climate and dry and high.My problems started when we moved here.Aches and pains and sensations..Things i have never experienced.I use to have energy 24 hours a day and now lucky to have it a few hours a day .I get cold and sleepy and tired .I have no symptoms of major problems just feel bad all the time.I have been told I was depressed.I didn''t know that.I think im depressed from feeling bad with no explination.I get called a hypocondriac when i have never been in my life.Im so frustrated I could die.Everyone says get up and keep busy .I do this .I get really tired really fast.My throat now is bothering me and I think I have tonsilitus..swollen lymp nodes.I cant move from here so what can i do?If not sick what is it????
