Depression can have physical symptoms too. Also, there is something called fibromyalgia that could be to blame. Alot of doctors don't recognize it as a real illness but I believe it is. Look the symptoms up on the web and see if it looks like you. Change doctors also. Obviously you feel bad and you need someone to take you seriously. Good Luck and God bless!

It's hard to make a guess when the doctors have ruled out so many things. How long have you been sick? If it's been about a month or less, I might think Mononucleosis, but the doctors would have found that. Do you HAVE to live where you are, or could you move back to the tropics? Maybe you're just trying to get acclimated to the colder weather? I just don't know. It's a tough call! I hope you can find some help though! Have you looked up chronic fatigue syndrome maybe?

There's also something called 'seasonal affective disorder', which is more psychological than physical, but a real disorder nonetheless. You may want to look up some info on that as well!

It sounds like something called Seasonal Affective Disorder. The symptoms of SAD mimic those of dysthymia or clinical depression. At times, patients may not feel depressed, but rather lack energy to get out of bed and do things. If you have seasonal affective disorder, winter's short days and long nights may induce feelings of depression, lethargy, fatigue, cravings for sweets and starches, headaches, sleep problems and irritability. Though seasonal affective disorder commonly begins in young adulthood, it's uncommon in people younger than 20. It's more common in women.

What causes seasonal affective disorder is unclear, but it may have to do with the amount of sunlight you receive. Although SAD can affect people anywhere, it becomes more common the farther north you live — perhaps because these areas of the earth experience decreased daylight for months at a time. In some people, however, recurring episodes of depression may occur in the summer, rather than in the winter.

Although there's no cure for seasonal affective disorder, treatments can help you successfully manage the condition so that you can go through every season of the year in relative comfort.

I have a lot of questions! This developed when you moved...where did you move too? How much sunlight is there...do your joints hurt or kind of get stuck? Arthritis knows no age, I first found I had it at 16 when I spend 6 wks in Hawaii. Have you tried artificial light? Seasonal affective disorder is very common.....this year seems like a lot of people are ready to hibernate....shoot thats how I feel! Have you tried taking supplements and vitamins....your body is in a totally different environment....it sounds like you need to move back to the tropics. But in the mean time, vitamins, supplements, exercise and artificial light, also increase your vitamin D intake.....your body is used to tons of vitamin D from the sun...your not getting any now....not good. If all those things and adding a joint supplement don't help go to a new doctor....but I think its just the environmental change and your body rebelling.....you weren't made for that location....

Have your doctors looked into Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? Here's a link with more info:http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/hw32907

You also might try treatment for depression. Even though you don't think you have it, what would it hurt to try? A lot of people with depression experience exactly the same symptoms as you.

You also might want to talk with your doctor about fibromyalgia and lupus; two very real medical conditions that are often mistaken for other things. Here are some links with info on those:

Just because the doctors don't know what's wrong with you, doesn't make you a hypochondriac. You just need to find the right doctor that's willing to believe you and work with you until a solution is found.

Best wishes...
