Is this something new or have you had periods of feeling depressed before? If you feel like it may be more than just feeling "bummed" go see your doctor. Everyone has an opinion on depression, you need to know how serious it is or if you are just going through a bad time. Hopefully you can find something other than antidepressants to make you feel better, but if you need them, take them.

Well excercise works for me, but everyone is different. Do something you really enjoy for some people it's painting, baking, writing, dancing, etc. You have to find your passion and take about half an hour and just do that. Space everything out and take time for yourself. Excercise works well for a lot of people, maybe just sit ups, jumping jacks, the kind of stuff you can do at your house so you don't even have to go anywhere.

If you don't have a friend that you want to confide in then seeking the help of a counselor is a great outlet and they're more experienced to help you. They can help you decide if you need to go on a anti-depressant temporarily until you feel better.Good luck

You could start by getting a hooby. Watch a funny movie. Find someone you trust to talk to. Just breathe. I know it sounds stupid but it works. The simple things in life are the ones I find the most useful.

Try to think of people that have it worse and you will find yourself feeling guilty for being bummed. It works for me. Think of what you have that others do not.

sometimes the weather will bum a person out, watch a funny show, play a game, go to the movies, excercise, (you have to get your mind focused on something else) Good luck.

What are you depressed about? Deal with what is causing you to be depressed. Make your life better.
If something is bothering you deal with it or get over it and go on w/ your life. I am not being mean. You deserve it. Be good to yourself.

If you accept the depression, it will probably end. Don't try to make it end, that won't work.
