My mom is an addict. To alcohol, and pretty much any drug she can get her hands on. Because of this, she has also turned into a compulsive liar. Tonight, I found out that she has stolen an entire bottle of oxycodone from me, that I didn't even know I had because she went and filled several prescriptions for me, after I had my wisdom tooth extraction. I would love SO much to turn her in, and teach her a lesson that she will hopefully never forget. The only thing I am worried about is my younger sister. Children's Aid has been involved with my family and I have been put into countless group homes throughout most of my childhood. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone, and for my sister, to me this is not an option. If I reported to the police that my mom has been stealing my prescriptions, will children's aid be notified? Also...I just finished having it out with her, yelled at her until I could no longer speak...but now that I am calm and collected, what could I say to get through to her?

I'm 5'2.I'm a 24 yr old female. I want to lose 70 lbs. I am 192. I am trying to control my calories. I want to know how many calories I need to maintain my weight.People say to subtract 500 or so calories from that number. I am now part of a gym so I'll be taking classes,carido and strength training. how much do I need to burn total per week at the gym and how many calories do I need to take out of the amount a calories I need to maintain my current weight, so that I may lose 2-3 lbs per week?

At the moment, I'm taking Herbalife Omega-3 Fatty acid & Multi Vitamins. I know its silly but should I take the 2 pills together, or take the vitamins first then the Omega3 ??

I'm not sure, but I think it can 'cause I took it this morning (we was out of regular tylenol) and I got a nosebleed real bad later on. Is this normal? Has it ever happened to you or anyone you know? If it can't, what are some other causes for nosebleeds. I am a minor so I don't drink or do drugs; if that has any effect on it at all. Also I am female if that had anything to do with it and it isn't the first nosebleed I've had, when I was much younger I used to wake-up covered in blood, everything soaked in it, from my nose, that happened a couple times, then stopped. Could whatever it was be coming back?? It hasn't happened in 7 years. Is there something wrong with my nose or... me?

Last night I hurt my back at work, I did an incident report and they sent me to the ER. The Dr barely examend me and said I have a pulled muscle, I should be on light duty for a week. Well I did my "light duty" today and now my back hurts more than yesterday.
What should I do? go see my own Dr or have my work send me back to the ER?.. that is the only place they will send me. I want to do it the right way incase I end up needing workers comp.
