It could mean several different things. It is one of the symptoms of diabetes, but does not necessarily mean that. It could mean nothing - often times people who are very physically active have a small amount of protien in their urine at times. Finally, it could mean kidney disease. I was diagnosed with focal segmental glumerulosclerosis several years ago - the same disease as Alonzo Mourning. It is a hereditary diseas with no known cause or cure. Anyway, get yourself checked out by a nephrologist right away. If it is either diabetes or kidney disease, they can diagnose it. If it is kidney disease, the sooner it is detected, the sooner it can be treated. And the better your chances of a cure or control. The more protein in your urine, the more damage is being done to the kidney. Godspeed.

Protein In Urine Means

Here is the non-alarmist answer and the correct one. First normally proteins are not found in urine but there are exceptions. There may be protein in the urine due to a fever, or UTI, or pregnancy, or even for a short time after a vigorous exercise program. It does not all of a sudden mean you have kidney failure and your urine is foamy. There are some forms of kidney disease that will cause this and there has to be massive amounts in urine before you see foam. I am willing to bet they found the protein during a routine urine test. Chances are you are just fine, sometimes proteins are in urine and the cause is not found.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

protein in the urine or Proteinuria (from protein and urine) means the presence of an excess of serum proteins in the urine. The protein in the urine often causes the urine to become foamy.

Proteinuria may be a sign of renal (kidney) damage. Since serum proteins are readily reabsorbed from urine, the presence of excess protein indicates either an insufficiency of absorption or impaired filtration. Diabetics may suffer from damaged nephrons and develop proteinuria.

It means that your kidneys are not filtering out all that it is suppose to. Here's a good link: http://www.kidneyfund.org/kf_blood_urine.asp

It's a simple urine test and then a blood test to find out if it's something to worry about.
