The guy that I started seeing, knows about the rape. I've told him not in alot of detail, but mentioned that I have nightmares, flashbacks, and panic attacks now. He has been very good about giving me space and not trying to kiss me or anything. We've been seeing each other quite a bit the past month, so I know that he will try soon. Sometimes I want him to, other times the thought of even holding his hand or hugging him terrifies me. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to handle this? I don't want him to try to kiss me and me go into a panic attack and lock myself in the bathroom for hours

this year. He is severely allergic to tree nuts and they will cause him to have an anaphylactic reaction. Two weeks before school was to start I called the principal to inform her of his condition and told her his doctor said all teachers should be informed of who he is and aware of his condition. I also spoke with the nurse and his teacher. I expressed that he doesn't realize how dangerous the nuts are to him because he's only 5, but it was very important that other children not share food with him. On the first day a child did share with him. Chocolate candy, no nuts thank God. I seen the chocolate smears in his lunch kit. We pulled him out of school the following day. I am horrible at the home school thing, and he really wants to go to school to be with other kids. Do you think it would be okay if I put him back in and went and had lunch with him every day? Or is it too risky that someone will share on the playground? Serious answers only please, this is the life of my child.

My work includes cutting sticks of cigarettes into small bits. But I do not smoke. Would constant inhaling of tobacco smell/odour cause cancer in the long run?

I have just recently received word that I have PSC. Apparently, I have had this liver disease for at least 5 years. I'm interested to know how long someone has experienced this condition before a liver transplant was considered. I initially had severe chills and high fevers but for the past few months those have abated. However, I have had at least 30-40 consecutive bouts of severe night sweats. Has anyone experienced this and if so when did they end? Any other comments on this disease would be helpful.

I am 25 years old, and married. So I am in a very monogamous relationship. Six years ago, I was on the pill which caused a blood clot and I spent two nights in the hospital. After that my doctors wouldn't allow me back on the pill, my next option was Depo. After a horrible experience with that I spent the next four or five years using condoms. I was told a few years ago that the IUD wasn't a good option for women who haven't had children yet, but am hearing conflicting information now.

I would love to hear from anyone who has had the IUD, if you liked it or not and why? From anyone who has had it before having children and if you were able to conceive once you had it taken out? Really anything anyone is willing to offer!!

Thanks!!

that masterbation will damage your health? Are you not aware that it is great for you to be active as it helps maintain a healthy prostrate, and if you can maintain a healthy prostate then the theory is you should be better off as an older man and shouldn't get prostrate trouble.
Or is this just something the kids on here don't know yet and still think they will go blind if they play with it too much?
I would just like some opinions as I have seen this question loads on here.

why does everyone flip out bout people smoking cigg's? whats so wrong about them? yeah they give you cancer and they are also addictive! not only that people are always complaining that your hurting your family and friends by smoking cuz u die. well what about all these foods....almost every food has something bad in it for you these days. coffee has 46 KNOWN cancer causing ingredients and no ones says anything to them. so why does everyone have to overreact about smoking ciggs?

I'm 22 years old and only sexually active with 3 partners, one who I've been with for almost 4 years, the other two have been tested (I don't use any form of BC other than condoms, but use them all the time). It started a couple of weeks ago and I thought I was leaking urine. Then I got my "period", but instead of the normal red through the majority and brownish towards the end, it was a very deep brown color the entire time and disgustingly smelly (and pretty light flow comparitively). I don't have to use tampons anymore, but if I go without a pantyliner, I stain my panties and think I'm still having urine leakage issues. I've been cutting caffeine out of my diet and practicing my kegels more, but this is really bothering me. I have started becoming less social and sexually active because of it...worried about others smelling me or my partners health (just in case, though I highly doubt STD). The only info I can find online is pregnancy stuff or post-period "spotting".

I understand the importance of drinking plenty of water so I have recently started drinking 2-3 times more water than I usually do. Needless to say, this change has caused me to constantly have to use the bathroom. Does anyone know how long it typically takes for the body to adjust to getting more fluid and I no longer need to have to use the bathroom as much?
