I need help trying to get my mom to quit smoking. She has ben smoking for long time. My dad siad she promised to stop when they got married but she still smoked.
I have tryed to talk to me mom about it but she just got upset and grounded me. I told her why she sould stop, like my frends one time saw a buch of segrets under my deck( she hides them there not very well) it was not cool when they saw it, she says she want me to vist her when she old but she may die when she's young because of smoking and i told her a couple of other things, but like i said all she did was ground me and get mad at my dad. My dad has basicly given up after all this years. Im going to show her some pictures of a damiged lungs. i dont care if she grounds me i just want here to quit smoking. Can any one give me some advice?

How is it healthy? I'm looking at some Peanut butter (Peter pan) reduced fat and I can't believe the label.

How in the world can it be healthy for you with all those calories and fats? I mean is it suppose to help gain weight? Because I heard that it's suppose to help loose weight and body fat./

my partner and i have had protected anal and vaginal sex. We've been talking about having anal sex without a condom. it's something both of us really want. I want to join the Officer Training Corps at my university, but I have ashtma. I have had it for 10 years, been a national athlete, and never had an attack. It is well controlled, and I am in otherwise excellent health. But apparently I cannot join. Why is this? Can I join any other military programs?

omg. i swear i think i mite have hyperhidrosis. it sucks. Im in Poms for my school and i ahve had after school practices this week. I wore a cashmere sweater yesturday and a longsleeve today.....and both times when I lifted up my arms to do a dance move...MY UNDERARMS WERE SOAKED! this happens throughout the day too. even when I am not nervous I am always sweating in class! one time it got so out of control it got to the point of BO!!! i was pissed! I told my mom, but she has a new job and she cant talk to my doctor anytime soon cuz her boss wont let her....so she told me to do some research.....so i am. DO YOU NOW OF A LOTION OR DEODERANT (OVER THE COUNTER or PERSCRIPTION) that will stop my sweating?!!!??? HELP!!!!

Scratchy throat since Saturday evening (and it is Tuesday night as I write this), and I sound like a chronic smoker. I have a cough, and feel kind of nasueus. Also, and this is the real weird part, I've also been kind of gassy. Like, burping.

I have cough drops (Ricola) and it seems worse when I'm not taking them. Also been taking a bit of cough syrup, and vitamins.

The problem is, I live in a dorm, and so the health clinic on campus will only say "Sorry, you live in a dorm, you are gonna get sick." The clinic really does suck. Is there anything you guys recomend? Also, I only live a couple hours from home, and am wondering if I should go home to talk to my doctor.
