You need to start thinking about what is going to be good for you and your future and make up your mind that you are not going to let anyone or anything keep you down any more....Please,...sweetheart...don't even be talking about killing yourself ....You should go and talk to a school counselor, and express your concerns...and tell them why you can't talk to your parents and that you want to succeed in this world..and then, I am going to tell you to pray to God and to Jesus, for your answers..and you need to talk to someone and let some adult that you can really trust, know just why you are feeling so violated and down....which is what I think is going on....Please little one, I think that there is a beautiful horse some where that is waiting to be owned by you..and a wonderful guy who needs you...Jesus Loves you and I bet a lot of people do..

First of all the idiot who told you to grow up and said life will get harder needs to read a few books on psychology. Please please don't pay attention to his comment. Just because your problems aren't on the 6 o'clock news doesn't mean they are not problems.
I have had a lifelong battle with depression and anxiety. I had my first bout of depression in 6th grade. I cried all the time and even had thoughts of suicide. IT did go away but the anxiety stayed with me all the way through college. At 19 I suffered another bout of depression. At 22 after 4 years of therapy I decided to take prozac. Eversice then I have been fine. I am now 27.
I know that at your age seeing a psychologist or taking medication is embarrasing. Some people may say that taking medication is an easy way out. Don't let what people think or say keep you from getting help. Talk to your school nurse and your school counsler about the way you are feeling. They may reccomend you see a doctor or professional counselor.
Have you talked to your parents about it. What do they think?
One reccomendation - make sure you are excersising and eating right. The excercise in particular helps you feel more upbeat. My psychiatrist use to always tell me to make sure I was excersising.
Let me know if you have any questions.

First things first, don't kill your self, you may think it will solve your problem but it won't. It will only create more. Second, this depression thing of yours, i know how you feel, in year 7 and 8, I used to think like you are now. I not sure if this is whats happening to you but when i went through this phase, I was lonely, had like no friends, failing my classes. And worst i told my family that i had heaps of friends when i was sitting alone at lunch while all the other girls enjoyed their popularity. But over time I learned to keep my head up and focus on the positive things in life, I started to do better in my classes, people didn't see me as a loser any more, I had more friends. I look back on the way I felt then, and how much happier i am now.
My problem might not be the same as yours but focus on everything positive, at first you might not think of anything, but just keep focusing. When ever you feel down, cry it all out, and think of things that make you laugh. Also be confident around other people. Time will heal. Good luck!!

Their is always an answer to almost any problem. The key is to discovering it. I dont know exactly what you're going through right now, but have you tried talking to someone about what you're going through? I mean taking pills might help a little, but really talking about it, is going to help a lot. Let me just tell you. Killing yourself won't solve anything, and it'll only add more pain to other people that might know you. I know because I had a friend that killed herself too. So whatever you do, DO NOT take the "easy way out" and really try to help yourself. Talk to someone please. Feel free to email me too on here. I want you to get some help.

Hello Jessica. I am very sorry to hear about your dilemma. Your avatar shows a spirited girl full of Christmas cheer. It is hard to believe that you are depressed. That being said, First of all you must realize that happiness comes from within. If you spend your time trying to please others, you will derive some joy,,, but ultimately you will feel depressed if what you are doing for others, does not please you. Hobbies, music (cheerful), and movies are some of the things that bring joy. I love Karaoke, and playing guitar. I also love other things that snap me right out of depression. Find your nitch in the world and have fun with it. But always remember, DRUGS isn't even an easy fix for depression. Alcohol, causes deeper depression. So go and look for your brand of fun, and the depression will leave you alone.

Look at this page and pick out what looks most likely to have the help you want. There are many options. Just click on the ones you wish to read. http://www.google.com/search?q=controlling+depression&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official Also go to www.yahoo.com and click on GROUPS. There you need to find a support group that appeals to you. This is a good thing to do since it's easy to talk freely over the Internet, to other people your age, going through this same thing - this is a tough age to be - I can barely remember, but I do remember. Good luck!

Hi,
I think all ppl can get bored in their life. and you are the one of them now. Get bored it's mainly cause of you are think that your dream will not come true or hard to make it. Also it's can be cause of you too much care about other ppl perception about you. I think you are in the 2nd category since you want to make other ppl happy. I sure it's really tired and everything you do you have to think about wht ppl will say about it...
So, better you find someone to chat about or you can do other activities but now you no need to care wht ppl will say. only care are you happy or not ?
It's better to do what you like rather than make ppl happy.
maybe we can have a chat if you like....
Cheers & Good Luck ~ MS

Grow up kid, you think your life is hard now, it will get harder. Be thankful for all you have, I'm sure your life is better than most. At your age, I ran away from home and my parents never bothered looking for me. You don't have it as hard as you think. Let your parents know you're depressed and get some help.
