It was all okay until about 3 yrs ago when I got out of the coast guard and came home with my wife and tried to work a 8 to 5 job here in Louisiana. But things just kept going downhill. I kept getting sh1tty jobs, quitting or got fired ( I was an electrical helper ) and this year my wife and I divorced, I lost my last job, and now I am forced to live at home again with my parents. When will the downward spiral stop? Is it a curse because I got out of the Guard with greener grass syndrome? Help! Dr. Phil, Oprah, Somebody!!

Swelling sometimes goes up my legs w/ large dark red patches. Also accompanied occasionally w/ right hand and right arm numbness. Even when my feet and ankles aren't very swollen, my left foot and left toes are numb.

I'm a nurse but I've never heard of this before.
Recently, I have tried to take Tylenol PM and Benadryl as a sleep aid. I have never had to take Benadryl before as I am very healthy, do not have any allergies, and do not get sick often. However, I reacted very oddly to Benadryl- I became restless- I couldn't sit still! I felt that I didn't have any control over my body and I kept twitching. This was happening as I was trying to sleep, but I almost had a paradoxical reaction and was kept wide awake! What kind of reaction would you call this; and has anyone ever heard of this before (esp Medical people?) Help! Any other information would be greatly appreciated!

ok my boyfriend works at a hospital. He didn't have gloves on and got hiv blood on his hand. They said he had no visible open cuts. He then received a PPE shot or something like that. I guess this shot is supposed to avoid infection somehow. Anyways they said they are going to test him one week later, three weeks, three months, and one year. Do I have to wait one year to have sex w/ him. B/c I read online that 97% of people show antibodies in 3 months. How long should i wait i'm scared. So far he's been tested one week, three weeks, and three months. Am I ok to have sex w/ him now? What are the chances that he could have it after testing negative 3 times. Also why do they want to test him after a year? I thought the max time was 3-6 months. please help

There's a bump below my kneecap. It's like it's just swollen a little. It's been like that for about 4 weeks. I decided to ice it and after I did that, it started to hurt. It also hurts when I swing my leg when I walk. It doesn't hurt when I push on it or walk on it.

I've already asked this already so let me answer some more questions:

I'm 23 and the bump is on my left knee to the left of the lower sticky outie (very technical, I know) bone. It's wide and not a small bump.

Ok I am having a problem. Want to speak to others that maybe have had the same. Ok I am known for having constipation on and off ever since I was little, but just in this past week I have been feeling bloated and feel like going to the bathroom but when I go its really hard to move the stool and I only put out a little bit. The problem is that the stool is not really hard like pellets or anything. Its seems it be normal just hard to put out. Also it comes out flat somethimes and sometimes it comes out round but shinny..I have had flat stool before sometimes then it goes back to normal and then back to flat sometimes...Sometime the first stool out is round and the rest after that is flat...It just varies from time to time..But this week I have been having dificulty going...anyone have a related problem? Also I probably don't drink as much water as I should but its never really affected me before...

I am very upset over everything in life. War, clergymen abusing children in God awful ways, people in the streets homeless. Seeing important people in my life leave this earth. Kinda doesnt seem worth it to be here. My life isnt any better than anyone elses. I am sure the outcome couldnt be any worse.
