Dove beauty bar..is just that..it's a non soap. soap is harsh on your face, and tends to dry your skin. if you don't use it year round, your should at least use it in the winter months, when your skin is starving for moisture. my daughters dermotoligst recommended her using dial yellow, to help with her oily skin and break outs.
just remember, that it has moistureizers in it, and should not be left in standing water(ie:in the tub) it tends to go mushy if left in water!
The only side effects would be if your allergic to fragrance..you find other bars that are fragrance free.

According to the book, The Safe Shoppers Bible, indicates that Dove soap bar (don't know if the soap bar and beauty bar are one in the same or not) along with many other commonly used household products contain known carcinogens and/or neurotoxins. Carcinogens are chemicals that cause cancer. Neurotoxins are chemicals that adversely affect the nervous system reducing emotional well being, mental alertness, coordination and other functions associated with intelligence.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions or if you are interested in a complete list of products.

There is always the possibility of an allergic reaction to something but Dove is made to be hypoallergenic and is the least harshest of all soaps. Your odds of something happening are slimmer with Dove then any other brand of soap.

i appreciate dove! Its the purely cleansing soap i exploit. i exploit the obtrusive white bars. It has an rather gentle sparkling scent. I used the sensitivie like once cuz thats the replaced into the purely dove left contained in the residing house n it had a humorous scent idk perhaps thats purely cuz it replaced into in our bathing room closet for a lengthy time period lol

it's no worse then any other so called
'beauty bar' I have never heard of any
adverse effects; you could try Ivory which
is pure fat or 'pure&natural, thats a pretty
good bar soap, not too perfumy, nor very
creamy, it has a good balance.
