after the first couple weeks. its is safe to lose no more than 1 -2 pounds per week

you will lose more in the first couple weeks due to water loss..

also make sure to workout or you could be losing muscle, which is something that you dont want to happen

according to reports 1-3 pounds per week, however, if you watch the show "The Biggest Loser" it would be 13-23 pounds per week.............and they kept it off !
