if u totally lose vision in one eye but not the other then 50% but sumtimes it is less than that or u lose sum in both eyes. even if it isnt a lot in one eye. just like hearing.but at the same time ur other eye will try and compensate by working harder to see more which could mean headaches and such.

About 25/30%. If you cover one eye your vision does not stop at your nose. You can still see a rather significant amount on the other side. With both eyes working together there is a large area that the vision overlaps, this is what gives you depth perception. With only one eye your depth perception would be horrible.

assuming you had perfect vision before you went blind, you would lose 50% or 1/2 of your vision, since you had two perfect eyes, you would be left with only one good eye.

I think the key thing is that you lose depth perception. Both eyes need to work in congruence for this.

50% because its one eye out of two.
but it also depends on how you hurt your eye.

i don't think that you will loose vision because if you cover one of your eyes then you don't feel like your loose your vision.
