Ok heres my situation,ive got several issues going on at once(a real mess really) iam new in town so dont have a general doc yet.I have this rectal problem going on so i thought (gastroentologist) but im also really sick,sweaty and feverish lately with allot of muscle pain so thought of going to a (Rhuemotologist) But then I also have some female problems going on and thought perhaps seeing an (Gynecologist) my allergies are flairing up so thought of going to an (Allergist)HOW CAN I POSSIBLY AFFORD SO MANY MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS????? which doc can take care of my issues most effectively?

Okay, I dropped a bowl on my foot and oh my god it hurts soooo bad:P The spot on my foot is actually swelling and turning white and red. I was just wondering (With my paranoid little mind) Could I get a blood clot from this?

I gained 50 lbs during my pregnancy, weighing in at 196 just before giving birth in May. I now weigh 185, which means I've only lost 11 lbs. but my daughter was 7lbs 5oz, plus the placenta, etc. I am about an inch away from my old jean size (size 5-6) and I haven't worked out at all, so how come I've lost so many inches with virtually no weight loss?

I have been taking Loestrin 20 since the beginning of the year (although I did take it for a year or so the year before). I went on holiday in mid august and was due to finish the course while I was away. As I didn't want my period while on hols I started the next packet without a break. I am now nearly at the end of the second week of this course and it looks as though I have just started a period! Why is this? Last week I was late taking a pill by about 12 hours but I have missed pills before and not come on.

Is there something wrong?

I grew up with a mother who was an anorexic & she was under 90 pounds most of my childhood. (she is 5'2") Now she is very healthy &
has overcome this & she is a certified clinical nutritionist. Would it be rude to ask my friend to talk to my mother? I really think she needs the talk. I don't want to lose a friend by getting in her buisness but i'm afraid if i don't i will lose her anyhow from starvation. She is always making comments about her being fat. She used to wear a size 18 & got on some diet pills & lost a ton of weight fast. Well the pills made her really moody & mean to everyone. Now i never see her eat anymore & she is down to a size 00..What can i do? I don't even know if she will listen to me.

I lost my virginity a few years ago and was active 3 times with the guy within that same week. I had a 1 time encounter with someone this past April and in the beginning of August, I started a continuous sexual relationship with my BF. (I'm 20 for the record)We have been together a total of 4 times now. Yesterday, I stared having a weird soreness and slight swelling down there and it continues today- but we haven't had sex since Thursday night. I have never felt this before and I'm wondering if my body is reacting to the "constant" sex that it has never experienced. Just for the record, I am on my period right now and it is my first one since starting on The Pill. What should I do? Have you experienced anything like this?

I have had my period for well over 10 years and it has always lasted on average 5-6 days, however my last 2 cycles has only lasted at most 3 days... has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know why... ? Also I am exausted all the time, I mean physically tired and I shouldnt be, I get enough sleep and try to eat right. I dont know if the two go hand in hand or not but am very open to any suggestions or oppinions, Thanks in adavace!

soy has been a staple of my daily eating for years and although it has not affected me so much, all of the girls that i have dated for an extended period of time have had more trouble with my diet when it comes to gaining weight. i have recently heard about soy and it's quiet reputation of causing weight gain. my girlfriend of two years has gained apprx. 25-30 lbs., and is now giving it up completely. i know that soy is touted as one of natures perfect foods. is this the only chink in it's armor? and how do we realistically achieve a healthy protein intake without it?
