Okay, I dropped a bowl on my foot and oh my god it hurts soooo bad:P The spot on my foot is actually swelling and turning white and red. I was just wondering (With my paranoid little mind) Could I get a blood clot from this?

You should be fine. I did something similiar yesterday-sounds stupid but true story. I was chatting on the phone with my friend and went to get some toilet paper to blow my nose and i wacked the top on my hand on the toilet paper holder right on a blood vessel near the wrist ontop of my hand. It hurt so bad a screamed some obsenities, then when i looked at where i had hit it i was concerned about a blood clot to cuz it got all purple and black in 2 seconds. i massaged it and now i just have a big lump. but when i would squeeze and open my hand my pointer finger was all tingly. i just have a small real dark purple spot almost like a blood blister and a big bump. blood clots travel fairly quickly if u had one. good luck!

I don't think so. I've dropped plenty of things on myself and never ever got a blood clot. Sorry to hear bout the foot though!

Highly unlikely dear. Just elevate your foot, and keep ice on it. If the swelling doesn't go down within a few days, go get it x rayed.

yes it is bad.
I don't want to scare u, but a friend of mine was working at Cairo airport and a passenger hit her foot with his bag, what happened later was unbelievable coz that hit activated a cancer cell in her body !!!!
u need to visit a doctor soon.
