Guys and girls i wanna know. Do you think that the models that walk our runways are too skinny? just right? what?

Girl models are usually perceived as skinny, but it's not everywhere like that. I know of one agency which only employs well proportioned women, not too skinny, not too fat. If you fit the requirements, go for it. You just don't start in that field if you're 30 kg overweight, no matter how cute you are, unless you're up for a serious challenge. Moreover, body shape is not a model's only concern, since they have to spend time-consuming care for their hair/skin/teeth/overall fitness.

Way too skinny. But if people would stop buying the designers crap, then the models might start to look more normal, it's all about the money.

Yes, I do and you might be pleased to hear that in Spain, they are banning skinny models, as in with a BMI of less than 18 from their catwalks. I hope other countries will follow suit. Take care : )

it is true that runway models suffer health complications for a price. i used to be a model but i did not like the lifestyle and demand to STARVE! so i quitted... there are other types of models (such as specialty models and plus-size models) who are not required to have the runway/ mannequin figures.
overall, most models (and celebrities) are underweight and have a risky body-mass index (BMI).

in my opinion models on the catwalk are unhealthy, its not attractive to see bones sticking out everywhere. That isnt what women are supposed to look like. Although i dont think its their fault as there is a lot of pressure on them to be so thin.

They are aesthetically pleasing (just right), but are too thin (health-wise).
