The past few days, I have had a lot of acid reflux problems with my stomach. Are there any foods that I could eat that would not irritate the reflux while I am trying to take my medicine to help the problem??? Seems like everything irritates it, and I gotta eat because I'm also pregnant! LOL thanks.

Ok first off, although I realize that I will get many negative responses, this is an actual question, and it relates to a lot of the information I had in my college level health class.

Do you think (if it was possible, yes) that overweight people, should be legally required to lose weight?

One of the main reasons why would of course be various health reasons ranging from poor cardiovascular system performance or serious problems, conditions such as diabetes’s, various types of cancers, stroke, respiratory diseases...keep in mind these are all of chances, it is not guaranteed a person will actually become sick from being over weight...just like someone that smokes for 20 years only has a MUCH higher chance of getting a form of cancer from it…

If the health problems were not bad enough, think of all the lost work time, stemming from people that are overweight, the lost work days a year, and especially the lost revenue in health care costs, which are probably mainly provided by

Okay, please don't tell me to go to the doctor. Insurance isn't working out right now. Knee injury over 2 years ago or more, didn't think it to be that serious. Still when i cross my legs up, and go back to move, it cramps up and take about 2 minutes before I can straighten out mY leg again. Exercise worsens it. I believe I had gotten this when I went back to school after 2 years homeschooled. I can walk, I can move without pain, but when I go into a full bend position for more that a few minutes. it hurts to re-straighten out my leg. My knee isn't whacked out or anything. I think it may be that inside grinding thing, But what can I do? I've tried braces, and hot and cold packs. no swelling, seems heat helps on occasion.. i am stumped. Continious pain when I walk uphill or run... Any help woul be appreciated.

My boyfriend just had surgery on a hernia he had in his right abdomen. It was due to an undescended testicle in his right abdomen. He got in a bad car accident at age 5 and the low-waist seatbelt actually cut off circulation and pushed the testicle up into the abdomenal area. During surgery, a urology specialist and general surgeon determined the testicle in the right abdomen was "savable"...therefor they pushed/moved/did whatever and got the testicle back into the scrotal sac (Not sure of the correct name?)...Is this going to affect us trying to conceive?

Hi! How are you? Please give a thoughtful answer, and know that all opinions are appreciated! Thanks

I've heard that I'm poised, but I want to be graceful.

Please don't suggest dancing because I've danced for 7 years and that does nothing.....and yes, I did dance ballet (pointe)....CORRECTLY!

There is a 7 year old little girl in my life who is very heavy for her age (83 pounds) and average height. She currently fits into a girls size 16 pants (which are quite snug) but we have to chop about a foot of length off and hem the pants. Of course, the sleeves on the shirts are too long. I believe the little darling needs to be checked for a thyroid problem, but her mother (my GF) wishes to see if diet and exercise will work first. I would agree with her if our current work schdules would allow us to spend more time with the child, who also has a 5 year old little brother who we nearly have to bribe him to get him to eat. We have instructed the daycare/schools not to give the little girl ANY second portions of ANYTHING, however, when I pick her up she's always nibbling on animal crackers or has a ziplock bad full of Halloween type candy. She is aware that she has a weight problem and doesn't seem to be bothered by it much, but she is a very well mannered child.
