I use Gain, is a bit more expensive than the rest, but it works very well and the smell is great!! If you suffer from allergies, try to stay away from powder detergents..some might clump up and leave residue in your clothes, thus causing you to be itchy. Hope this helps!

DREFT I have two babies with eczema and i always use dreft. It rinses clean and works great on all clothes. You can even put it directly on the clothing for stain lifting add water and rub. or just use in wash. Highly recommended. And for your dry clean only, try baby shampoo and wash in tub.

Ivory is another possibility for sensitive skin: I seem to remember seeing Ivory flakes or powder for laundry.

Dreft, I can tell you it helps. I have a friend with eczema and he needs pure aloe lotions for his skin and shampoos because it is so bad. But, he stands by Dreft...
