My ex-boyfriend is complaining of really bad pain in his kidneys. He can feel it in his back (of course), and he is saying that he has to pee every 30 mins. Has anyone else ever had these symptoms, and what did the problem turn out to be??? He drinks a lot too, so I wonder if that is causing some problems...

You know that sort of gurgling sound you get from your lungs when your sick and coughf up. I have that feeling in my lungs every day but a light gurgling sound. Its constant for about 3 years now? any suggestions?

Does anyone know if thoise stair steppers work to lose weight?
I work in a restricted environment I sit for long periods of time
I am wondering what kind of excercise I can to do get rid of my love handles and my stomach!!

It's allergy season....and you hear alot about ragweed being one of the most troublesome allergens,I see alot of what I know to be Goldenrod along the roadsides but I have never had anyone show me what is known as Ragweed....I am thinking they are the same thing...what say you?

i recently had a stent removed from my ureter due to complications and the doctor gave me 10mgs of valium and nothing more, it was the most painful thing I have experience other than the kidney stone and child birth itself. Is pain medicine not required for such a procedure?

In P.E. we run a LOT, im always one of the first people to finish when we do liners or laps around the gym or track, but afterwards i ALWAYS have cramps in my legs, there REALLY stiff, i can barely walk and it also hurts when i sit...and i cant stand the pain, we strech before we run..but that doesnt seem to help...does anybody know anything i can do to stop or at least decrease it? and is it normal for it to happen ALL the time? I have a problem. I was opening up a container, and I pulled a little too hard. I felt a quick pain in my middle finger tendon--one of the tendons that connect the fingers to the wrist--because I pulled too hard. It didn't hurt very much at first after that, but then I abused it and didn't rest it, and after about 3 days it became very tender and I couldn't use my hand for anything. It's been about 3 weeks now, and it feels better because I've been resting it, but has anyone experienced this before? How long will it generally take in order for my hand to be strong again? Note: I am a guitar player, and my hand is very important to me, so that is why I am concerned.

My vision is kind of fuzzy... although its bearable I dont like it... do I need contacts/glasses? I can see everything fine, its just sort of fuzzy, especially in the dark, and I have trouble reading on certain types of paper (examples: white paper).

im in marching band & i practice everyday ive been in marching for 3 years so it wouldnt have anything to do with the outdoors but i have this BAD pain that shocks my whole body & it hurts because it feels like pricks/needles are being poked on every part of my skin it is VERY uncomfortable please help!

I've been trying to meditate... do you gradually just feel the effects (i.e. totally being focused with nothing on your mind) after weeks of practice? How long will it take?

Also, what are the effects of meditation? Can it change you in any ways? Are there any negative effects of it at all? Thank you.

I was involved in a car accident last November (Dumb @## ran a red light) and found out that I have 1 bulging disk, and 3 herniated disks. Well, the neurosurgeon recently told me that one of the disks are ruptured, which from what i take can be used interchangeably with the word herniation? Anyhow, the ruptured disc is now pinching my ciatic nerve and causing severe pain in my leg and groins. They put me on neurontin, percoset, zanaflex, and voltaren (not to mention the many stool softeners i take because of side effects from the percoset). I have also lost the reflex in my right leg, cannot lift it up much, and knee is weakening. So, they have recommended back surgery, but i am nervous because i am only 30 yrs old and have heard horror stories about back surgeries. Has anyone had a similiar experience or had a similiar surgery? What type of surgery do you recommend. My neurosurgeon does not recommend laser surgery, any advice on this?

aight so lately ive been goin through this stuff in my mind it seems like im goin to follow in the footsteps or end up just like my uncle. its been back and forth for the past couple of weeks and im worried that im stressin it too much. what i do is i try to be myself and just live and when i do that i think alot about things, i think about bad things that my uncles do that i see myself doing and ive pictured myself in each of their shoes and which ever one i think of is how it seems my life is going at that point.i try hard to get it off my mind but just the way i talk when im like this worries me, makes me worry that im turning into that person. i think of ideas that could be a reason for all this and ive come up with some crazy ones, i dont no wat to do ..can someone give some advice on what to do, and if ne one has been in my position...
