Folliculitis is common on the buttocks. The look like small red dots with white centres. It can be caused by irritation but also sweat. Use a rough cloth in the shower to unplug the follicles. If they're more numerous, see your dematologist for some medication. Minocycline and clindamyacin are commonly used.
Want to try a home remedy first?? Try rubbing alcohol. Swipe the area lightly with rubbing alcohol on a tissue. Use Benzagel overnight, washing it off in the shower in the morning. Careful with the Benzagel. Wear white undies. It stains coloured fabric.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is: http://www.acne-treatment-medicine-1.info/

RE:
Butt acne.. what causes it?
I don't break out anywhere else, just here.. I'd like to know why though.. maybe from toilet seats, like the bacteria on there, or what??

Nope..it has to do with moisture kept in the area. Try cotton undies to help soak up sweat. Body talc applied also soothes and helps rid them.

I really cant say what causes it,but I would suggest wearing cotton panties.I don't know if you wear tight jeans, if so maybe try wearing looser more breathable fabrics.

dirty underwear, not wiping properly, dirty toilets, dirty bathtubs, if you use one....... There are so many factors in trying to determine why someone has butt acne......
My best advice to you is to see a dermatologist as soon as possible.
