"To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life. "

People have lots of ideas about what causes dreams, from the unconscious to random thoughts strung together. Maybe you do have some fears of losing someone you love, but maybe you are watching violent TV before bed. Try watching a comedy before bed or reading something happy. If you have a lot of negativity, maybe it's coming out in the dream. If you aren't expressing any negativity, maybe you're repressing the negative so maybe you need an outlet, like art or poetry.

Just tell your subconscious to stop remembering your dreams. Its all in your mind. You just have to tell it what it needs to do. It'll sink in when you think about it enough......not about dying people though, block that from your mind. As your laying in your bed, drifting off to sleep, just imagine one thing you love or like and keep that in your mind and DON'T think about anything else. Or you can just repeat in your mind, "I'm gonna have a good dream", while you doze off. If it doesn't work the first night, just keep doing it, it will eventually.

I've had chronic nightmares and mild sleep-walking. It was horrible, I never wanted to sleep. So I just kept telling myself that I don't want a dream, then I stopped remembering all my dreams, even the fun ones. Then a friend explained a little about the subconscious mind, so I listened to her by simply thinking about remembering the good, fun, or even sexy dreams. It worked, but not right away. Godspeed.

Having nightmares often you are a person full of anxiety and stress

Dreaming of someone close to you die could mean ...

Anxiety - you worry about departure. You don't want it happen and by projecting death in your dream is a way to forsee what will happen, subconsciously you think that will help you ease you the pain you will be facing. It is a feeling of fear.

Well, these could be anxiety dreams, something that you fear in your subconscience coming out in your dreams. If you're into dream interpretation, death usually signifies a major change so maybe some significant change is going to occur for that person. In some circles some believe that dreaming of someone dying is supposed to bring good luck to that person.

I wish I could help you!
Dreams are often things that you repress. It's your subconscious coming to the fore front. It just might be a fear that that person might die and you are scared.
I often think of the things I most fear in life or in my nightmares just before going to sleep. In this way I have acknowledged them and they are no longer repressed. thus I do not dream of them
you may want to seek professional help on this one.
