Basal metabolic Index is the correct method to determine height to weight ratio. There is a web site to determine if you fall in the correct range. ( I personally think you are at a safe weight, and I caution you that some of them may be extreme) As an example I'm 185 lbs and 6 foot 2 inches tall and some of the indexes say I'M on the upper end of the index inferring that I'm obese? So my best advice is to love yourself and eat healthy and have a great variety and love for food. Its not just a feeling you get from foo your making a chemical reaction. Hope this helped.

I saw someone else's post about being the same size as you and needing to lose 10lbs. where do you guys get these ridiculous ideas?!! At 5'6", the healthy weight range for your height is 108lbs-158lbs, so you're nowhere near being heavy. Your goal should NOT be to be 'super skinny' but to be healthy.

Are you kidding? If you can fit into all types of clothes with no rolls of fat hanging out..you are toned and just right for your body type. Really skinny girls are not neccessarily healthy girls and not preferred by the guys who count!

You are med. weight, not skinny, if you were 110-115 you would be skinny.
Just start running everyday, stop eating ice cream, anything with sugar in it, including carrotts, no fruits. Eat more protein, Their was an article written about women who swallowed semen and they lost weight, must be good for women.

well I'm the same as you and i don't consider myself really really skinny so i would say lose about 10 pounds then you'll be super super skinny
