I'm asking for a book I'm writing. This is the situation.

A man gets shot in the stomach (liver). It's four hours before he can get medical help. Even then the help is only a nurse with very little skills. Self trained by reading medical books matter of fact.

Is this possible or what am I missing here.

I think I have IBS, and my stomach is constantly bothering me. OTC medicines don't help, and the only thing I can do is use a heating pad, which only helps with cramps and aches, and not the accompanying digestive issues. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

chances of me getting the disease? Is it as strong as on a mother's side? My father's sister and father's mother had breast cancer in mid life. Will I get it or is it only if the mother's side had it? I'm 35 by the way. My mother's side has no history of breast cancer whatsoever.

I pulled a dirty bag on Saturday, I mean, this was low ... this was really low. My mates afterwards even looked in disgust, and some of them are dirty bastards ..... I only kissed her, but afterwards they were like, you've just kissed 100 nobs there mate ..... now, as a public school and Cambridge educated young chap, I normally go for an altogether higher breed of woman, but I was plastered ... and to be fair, she was very slutty, and not bad looking.

Now I have dry lips, and wondered if I can catch any diseases from such filthy birds??

This might sound weird, but I have experienced this for some time. When I'm just sitting around, and someone else is cleaning the room, for example, I experience a sense of pleasant euphoria. But it must be someone that I know would not get upset with me that I am not helping her, as the concern would ruin the high.

I hate going to the doctor, so if anyone can help in any way, I appreciate it.

One of the things I feel sometimes is that when I breath I get this sharp pain on my right side by my stomach. When that happens I have to breath short breaths until the pain goes away.

Another thing that's happened is that I get nose bleeds. Growing up I never got them but there have been a few times in the last year and a half, especially during winter when the temperature is hot.

Today, I felt something around right side of my collarbone, and when I felt that pain I felt it too on the back of my head also on the right side right above the neck.

The last time I went for a checkup was about five years ago, and am scared to go thinking that I might have some deadly disease, but then again don't we all. But if there is anyone that can help me in any way I appreciate it. Thanks.

Does anyone have any phobias? I have many and they are pretty much all childish but I am still struggling with them. I'm afraid of spiders, the dark, Seeing ghosts ( which i know sounds totally bizarre), heights, I'm afraid of being kidnapped or raped, all kinds of phobias and i don't know how to get rid of them. ok ive tryed everything i can think of i got the new gellette fusion i got tthe cream for it and everything i shave my face from top to bottom not bottom to top and my neck from bottom to top and i use after shave or somthing specail called bump patrol but it never seems to work...who ever helps me out and it works will get the best answer
