I have been told by a staff from Sun Tanning Studio that indoor tanning lamp/UV light will help our body to produce vitamin D, how true is it?

Research indicates that Indoor or outdoor UV stimulates the body to produce Vitamin D. However, it is acheived after a very moderate exposure. Overexposure doesn't increase the amount of Vitamin D that the body produces.

I don't think that's true. I think you need actual sun for that.
