Wouldn't recommend running at all with anything like a pram - if you are into fitness and training when pushing anything try a bit of power walking instead, you do, infact, use more muscles and the stress isn't so great on your joints.

Choose one with big sturdy wheels, the smaller the wheel the easier it is to clip the curb and cause you to topple over. Oh and make sure it is a light pram.

one of those joggers types, with a single wheel in front and nice sized wheels on the back.

I am assuming you are talking "strollers" which is what us "yanks" (lol) call it.
