Has anybody here ever suffered from Cerebral Deep Vein Thrombosis with a possible link to the contraceptive pill? Or am I alone? (awww)

I have been wearing my sister's contact lens her eye doctor had prescribed to her, so far my eyes are still okay. The contact lens is 1.0 diopter and I wear 100 degree eye glasses my doctor prescribed to me, a little research came up that 1.0 diopter equals 100 degrees (most asian countries refer diopter as degree). So I'm just wondering if it's okay to wear her soft contact lens as long as we have the same diopter. There are also measurements of a contact lens such as its diameter and base. Should I care about these measurements?

The last few weeks, my eyes have been puffy, itchy, tender and red. They look HORRIBLE. I took Benedryl every night for a week and they finally stabilized. I washed my face one night with an antibacterial soap and it all started again. I think that's what cause the first reaction. However, they are not going back to normal so easily this time. I've changed my pillow case, bought hydrocortisone cream, and keep taking benedryl at night. If I take it during the day I conk out! Help! Any ideas what I can do? I'd like to avoid calling the doc if it's something I can solve myself...

I have to go into hospital soon for an operatiion. It involves an overnight stay. I have asked around friends/family to look after my young son, but so far nobody can/will do it.
Is social services the only option left to me?

I figured I have DSPS ( Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome) My sleeping period is 4am to even 3pm sometimes. This started like 3 weeks ago and it is giving me trouble with the social life and work!! I hate pills, please don;t tell me pills or hypnose teraphy. I want to know should I not sleep for a day , or should I go to bed very early which is not working obviously, or go to bed late. I weight 550 lbs,and that's no lie My Doctor told me that I needed to loose weight before I have my gastric bypass surgery, on top of that medicaid suppose to Cover payments but I had to be on social security for at least two years,(BTW) I just started socail security,I feel like by that time I wiil weight more than what i do now or either in my grave because sometimes I stop breathing in my sleep because of my weight.I want to know What can I do in this situation??

I love to hike. My boyfriend can hike up trails, but going downhill for very long makes his knees ache and swell. He thinks he damaged cartiallage from skiing moguls a lot when he was in his twenties.
Is there any thing that can be done so he can hike with me? Exercises? Stretching? Would surgery make it possble for him to hike?
