I don't have any concrete advice for you that will help you get your surgery any sooner, but get started on losing that weight now! Maybe by the time you are able to get the surgery, you won't need it! Remember that once you have the surgery, you will be living the rest of your life on a limited and sparse diet, so you can look upon this time as practice. Please remember that your life depends upon losing the weight, by whatever method you use! Good Luck to you!

You do not have much of a choice it seems. Monitor your caloric intake, as much as medically possible. Do not stop eating all together, because that will slow down your metabolism. Drink 84 to 100 oz of water a day. I know it seems like a lot, but it is only about 5 to 7 16.9 oz bottles of water a day, or 10 to 15 8oz glasses a day. Drink the water instead of soda. If you are drinking a lot of dairy products, reduce it to a normal serving amount per day. If you are physically able to workout even just a little, start doing that, and you will start to see results eventually. It will take time, and it will not be immediate. You have to be committed to it, and put forth the effort day after day regardless of whether or not you feel like it is working. If you stick with it you will see the benefits eventually.
Hang in there, and know that there is no quick way out of this, it will take a lot of work, even after you have the gastric bypass.

What you need is a 2 stage surgery. In the first stage Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery is Done---which can help you reduce weight by almost 150 pounds. This takes almost 1 year to reduce this much weight after a sleeve gastrectomy.
Then after the sleeve gastrectomy-and after 150 poundsof weight has been reduced--you require a second surgery-which is usually a gastric bypass--and helps you reduce more weight.
If cost is a big factor for you-then you can get both the surgery in India. Gastric Bypass Surgery /gastrectomy/stomach stapling /lapband (all types of bariatric surgery) is very safe nowadays. It is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges obesity surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as obesity surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your obesity surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her surgery for revision gastric bypass in India through the forerunners healthcare .She is more than very happy with the results. She has lost 65lbs in 5 months. She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.hope this helps

One thing you can do if you are worried about when you stop breathing in you sleep is to get a CPAP machine. It is a device that you wear weh you sleep that keeps your airways open. Another thing that you can do to lose weight would be to do water arobics. This is often a good form of excercise for people who are obese because it is low impact and wont cause you any strein ony our joints but will give you a cardio work out. As for the operation, i would see if I coud get a loan from the bank, explain to them what's happening and then ask them if they have a plan that could help you.

First of all, I want you to know that I will be praying for you. Your condition is serious, and I know you are scared.
I have struggled with my weight over the years, but not to the extent that you are dealing with yours. I know what it's like to feel like nothing is working and like there is no hope. There is hope... don't ever give up!
First of all, get yourself to a sleep clinic. You need a CPAP machine! My husband has sleep apnea, and his machine has helped him get better rest and his snoring is virtually a thing of the past. He is also a big guy, and his sleep problems were due to his weight. Your sleep apnea is a very serious problem and it needs to be addressed immediately!
Secondly, I am sure that exercise is difficult at your size -- so you need to start with small (or maybe big) changes to your diet. Cut out the carbs and sugars and eat lots of protein and vegetables. I have lost weight this summer by simply making those changes, as well as giving up my beloved diet Cokes and drinking water and diet green tea. When I do eat carbs, I try to limit them to one meal a day, and I am really watching my portions.
Start there and see what happens. Drink lots and lots of water and move as much as possible. See what happens!
God bless you!
