Through the years, I have had occasional experiences with sleep paralysis. However, over the last few months and weeks it has become more frequent and worsened. Sleep paralysis happens either when getting ready to fall asleep or when waking from sleep. You are awake but cannot move for a period of time. I didn't know this was a condition that many people experienced until I told a relative about it over the weekend. She suggested looking it up, but the more I read, the more frightened I am. Each night I dread going to sleep because I know I will either have this experience just before drifting off, in the middle of the night, or in the morning when waking. Sometimes I try to cry out but can't, and definitely cannot move, but I can see. Sometimes I also can hear things but know they are not real (the other night heard news on the tv, but the tv was not on). If anyone has experienced this, do you know of something i can do before going to bed that might help?

Im taking 20mg of Lexapro and ever since I have been having extremely vivid dreams. Like when I dream about a person, when I see them in real life, I can't remember if what we did was a dream or not. I even dream things that make me cry and I will wake up crying. that's never happened to me before. anyone with similar things happen to them while taking these meds?

How many of you who suffer from depression also have a hard time keeping up with the housecleaning?

Also, how many of you have a weight problem due to depression?

I struggle with both of these issues and wondered how many others do. Thanks everyone.

It is a mystery for most of the people to know what babies think or what they have in mind. Though Drs and lot of people who had babies try to explain the behaviour, each baby is unique and no one knows or even predict what a new born baby wants or needs - Since, the baby is bought to parents, after certain time, child recognises by gestures etc,. But in reality, that may not be true.

I got stung by a wasp 48 hours ago and I am just now startng to show some signs of a reaction (it stung my finger and I am majorly swollen through my wrist, the swollen area is red and warm to the touch, I itch clear up to above my elbow, I have major pain in the joints in my finger, my nose is runny and I have a bad headache now- which is possibly not related...) This is even hours after taking a Benadryl. Should I be concerned?

I've known my Wife for 6 years. She's 27 years old and she's blacked-out on me three times now. We were at a concert yesterday (it was hot) and she had some alcohol. She's been hypoglycemic before and I thought that's the reason she passed out the first two times (years ago). Yesterday, since we were at a concert, paramedics were at the scene and checked her blood-sugar - which was perfectly fine. So what could it be that's making her pass out? She passed out twice at the concert. The first time, walking, she just fell to the ground (with her eyes opened the whole time) and the second time she passed out in my arms (again, with her eyes opened).

I've convinced her to go to a doctor but I'd like to get as much information on my own as well...

Thanks in advance...

Im on Ortho-tri cyclen lo right now and i absolutely hate it!! im moody, bloated, i want to eat all the time (no joke), and im miserable!!!! but anyways i want to switch to Yaz (no, not yasmine...this is different). Yaz is the low dose form of yasmin. im on low dose B.C. because im regulating my period. but anyways if you take yaz, what kind of side effects have you had?? and how bad are they? mainly the only thing i care about is the weight gain and bloating because im trying to tone up my body before school. not necessarily lose weight, just tone and the birth control is making it difficult.
