Im taking 20mg of Lexapro and ever since I have been having extremely vivid dreams. Like when I dream about a person, when I see them in real life, I can't remember if what we did was a dream or not. I even dream things that make me cry and I will wake up crying. that's never happened to me before. anyone with similar things happen to them while taking these meds?

That happened with me when taking Effexor, which I think is a similar medication.

Talk to your doctor...

I am on Zoloft, and before i was on it i was experiencing all the same side effects that you are saying, you should not stop taking them, if do stop taking them abruptly the side affects could be a lot worse than what they are not, i would advise you to speak to your doctor to see if he could eith give you a smaller or larger dose depending on his examination, but in most cases they will refer you to see a psychologist or a counseller, i went to see one for 8months because of the same problems and yes, i know that it's a long process and a boring one, but you will definately be better off doing it, i have just been taken off my anti-depressants and i have never felt better...

I hope you have found what your looking for and i wish you Good Luck as i know how hard it can be, but i'm sure in time that you will get through it =)

an aspect effect of Lexapro is increasing suicidal options. If this happens, provide up TAKING IT!! It labored for me for a lengthy time period, yet then stopped. They switched me to a diverse med, that labored and made a wide large difference. draw close in there!

I used to take it, but it made me see lots of strange colors and stuff, specially when I first woke up in the morning. I didn't like being depressed but didn't want to feel like I was on LSD or something either....

A friend who beleives in natural remedies and stuff gave me some of this stuff. After two weeks I felt a LOT better.

Talk with your Doctor. You need to have your medication adjusted or changed.
